When I pick up my camera, I see more than just a lens capturing a moment — I see a tool that God has placed in my hands to tell stories of love, joy, and connection. Photography isn’t just my career; it’s a one of my passions that God has given me. My favorite part about photography is that I am able to serve God through capturing your stories.
Christ as My Foundation
Every time I step into a wedding day, a senior session, or a cozy family gathering, I am reminded that these moments are gifts from the Lord. Scripture tells us that “every good and perfect gift is from above” (James 1:17), and I believe the milestones I get to capture are some of the sweetest of those gifts. My role isn’t only to take beautiful photos — it’s to serve, encourage, and celebrate the stories God is writing in each life.
Seeing Love Through a Kingdom Lens
Love is the heartbeat of my work, and it reflects the greatest love of all: Christ’s love for His church. When I photograph a bride walking down the aisle, I don’t just see lace and flowers — I see a glimpse of the eternal love story God is telling. Every wedding and every moment somehow tugs at the strings of my heart. From the first looks of a wedding day, or capturing a milestone of a newborn for a new family. Somehow I find myself in awh of Gods goodness. When I capture a family laughing together in their backyard, I see echoes of God’s joy in creating us for relationship and community.
Photography as Worship
For me, creating art isn’t separate from worship — it is worship. Every shutter click is a way to glorify the Creator who designed beauty in its purest form. The way the light falls on a couple’s embrace or the way a child’s laughter fills a frame reminds me of His creativity and goodness.
I never used to think photography or art as a way to worship God. I always thought of just singing as a form of worship. But, really when you are putting God as the center of your heart worship can come in all shapes and forms.
Serving with Purpose
My prayer before every session is simple: “Lord, let me serve this family, this couple, this senior, with Your joy and presence.” I want my clients to walk away not only with timeless photos but with an experience that feels life-giving — filled with peace, laughter, and a little bit of hype (because yes, I’ll cheer you on the whole way!).
Love Stories Worth Remembering
At the end of the day, I believe photography is about remembering — remembering God’s faithfulness, remembering the joy of a season, remembering the love He’s planted in our lives. These images aren’t just for today; they’re treasures for tomorrow and legacies for generations.
